To whom it may concern:
I have spent many years in business as a CPA, in the public education world as a classroom teacher and in higher education in a technology support role. In each of those arenas you often deal with competent practitioners and laborers, but very seldom do you have the pleasure to work with an artisan. Kelly Ish of Dye Hard Painting is such a person who does not look at work simply as a task to be completed, but as a work of art to be crafted and molded into the best project possible.
I first met Kelly as a result of a recommendation from Sherwin and Williams paint store. I had an interior paint job on a prefab home to finish for my returning daughter and her husband. From the first moment of contact I realized Kelly was rare. He completely listened and absorbed our concerns and ideas and then, with the greatest of tact and caring, pointed out items that I had never considered. His suggestions proved Kelly to not only be a caring and quality painter, but he solved plaster and redesign work that had we left unfinished would have allowed damage to occur later. He took great care to complete things as quickly as possible as my returning daughter was 8 months pregnant. He took precautions and spent extra time to insure that she would not be exposed to harmful chemicals. To prove this, on the day that the kids furniture arrived, we had the moving van unload everything into the carport. Kelly and crew worked that day, night and next morning and finished at 3 am the next day by moving all of the boxes inside as he knew of our security concerns. In all of this, he did not ask for extra money nor extra help. He has also been most willing to return to correct the flaws that we find after his job completion. To this point, we have not had to call him.
I have enjoyed working with Kelly and Dye Hard Painting and would highly recommend him to anyone that truly wants a swift and yet a quality job. To prove my commitment, I have had Kelly back to do the outside of the house. This also included replacing rotted fascia boards and caulking the seams which had not been properly done the first time. You will truly not go wrong by selecting Dye Hard Painting as your “Painting Artisan” of choice.
Sincerely,
Norm Galey
